objective

To create an upscale vacation experience for families, while promoting Japantown's culture and tourism.  I wanted the brand to be bright and eye-catching in such a way that all ages, kids and adults, will feel excited.  Keeping a modernism with a traditional flair.

solution

I focused on branding that was colorful yet minimalist, so it can appeal to both kids and trendy adults.  Using abstract shapes that I could remake into different assets to keep the brand unified, I also added a cute fox icon for an recognizable symbol for the hotel.
