Norrby

Norrby is a company selling a traditional Norwegian beverage-egg kaffe. Its intent is to design with a Scandinavian-inspired flair for Americans looking to try a new coffee beverage.

objective

To bring more awareness to Norwegian drinks and culture using graphics and colors to invoke its traditional sensibilities. Norrby's goal is both education and pride for Norway and other Scandinavian countries. I want it to be a drink that people of all ages, any nationality can pick up and enjoy. 

solution

I focused on a minimalism evoking Scandinavian graphic design. I contrasted it with a whimsical illustration of a Norwegian town and the use of a script typeface like coquette. Ikea was particularly a big inspiration in how it used its design for international appeal.
