This is the evolution of the original Rocket Matter logo. Rocket Matter is a SaaS company targeting small and medium sized law firms. Being a founder, enabled me to nerd out in various design roles. Finding a name: The focus was on an object for use as a pictorial and a verb - ideally, the result would be a domain name not requiring a bank loan.

Design Concept: Who doesn't love a rocket? The design harkens back to images of space travel from the 50's and 60's. Rooted in this nostalgia, the logo looks to connect the promises of space-age technology realized in the present. It looks to channel the childhood experiences of the target demographic and leverage the pervasiveness of rocket iconography. I wanted our target customers to think about us when encountering a rocket in media or in a toy store.
