Enabling a new data streaming technology in Mercedes cars with EV Planner

Web app for finding nearby EV charging stations during travel in electrical vehicle.

The app was created to demonstrate to upper-management at Daimler how many different car parameters can be efficiently streamed from/to car to external apps using our streaming implementation based on websockets.

I created the design and frontend part while backend was done by my team colleagues before we started the proof-of-concept.

As result of our efforts data streaming have been established as a new standard for both efficient and stable way of communicating between servers and Daimler vehicles.
