Mograph - Mix 2D & 3D Style

The mixed stlye of this shot was done using #C4D and #AE. 

1️⃣ First we animated all #3D elements in Cinema #4D using mograph tools. Using the Expresso tag we transfer the movement of all clones inside the mograph object into Nulls Objects with the external compositing tag 🕸

2️⃣ This allowed us to bring the 3D data into AE and use it to match the expanding animation and camera on all the secondary 2D elements we added in AE. It also saved us some time texturing 3D objects since we rendered a clean 3D scene and we added the 2D Social media icons later in AE ⏰

3️⃣ This set up gave us great flexibility when it came to client notes since we were able to adjust almost everything in AE without having to revisit the 3D animation and re-render 👍🎉
