Ukraine & Japan Logo

In 2022, Japan and Ukraine celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. On this occasion, various cultural events will be held in Ukraine throughout the year, which will contribute to the further development of bilateral Japanese-Ukrainian relations. The Embassy of Japan in Ukraine has announced a competition for a logo that will symbolize friendly Japanese-Ukrainian relations and will be used during events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ukraine.

The proposed logo depicts representatives of Ukraine and Japan in their traditional outfits. Both figures are holding a wreath, one side of which contains a variety of wildflowers from Ukraine, and the other — 
the symbols of Japan. Also, the extremities of the dress are braided as a sign of infinity, which symbolizes the intention for long-term favorable relations between these countries.
