Vital Companies - Logomark Journey
Vital Companies is a Columbus, Ohio video production company with a history of work across many clients in retail, customer service, and event production, but they recently required a new brand identity and expression to reflect their evolving values and passionate approach.
Their new logo needed to be striking and bold with a twist of retro. An array of logomarks were presented ranging from modern and minimal to retro and wild, but the final chosen logomark featured a dimensional wordmark with a circular element to subtly represent the music and film side of their production through things like a vinyl record and camera lens. The circular element and “comets'' around the wordmark became brand elements for other parts of the visual identity.
