Never Let Anyone Tell You Your Capabilities
365/365 Project #omatype complete! It doesn't really feel like a year ago today that I was starting this. From time to time I scroll down my feed to see the progress I have made in 12 months. I never thought that I would commit to a project like this, being such a spontaneous person.
It was hard, I'm not going to lie. There were days where I was swamped with client work, and still had to squeeze the daily lettering in. My two week vacation to Mexico was a time I sure would have liked to call the project off. The times I had to push plans back with my lovely lady and other friends were times when I wanted to quit. And being a perfectionist, I wouldn't just post something that I wasn't happy with. So a lot of time intensive work hit the trash pile. But I knew lettering was what I was supposed to be doing, so I knew I'd be guided all the way with a constant push.
I've learned an unbelievable amount, have met a lot of great new people, and have gotten the chances to work with amazing clients. I'm so thankful for the feedback I'm always getting from you all. Even if I'm not always able to respond to every comment, rest assured I still appreciate them!
I'm proud of @breathoffresherin for joining me on this journey, and also completing project #omatype, as well as the other letterers doing this project and finishing up soon. I also want to thank @jessicahische and @youbringfire for giving me the idea. These two are fantastic designers and letterers!
