Seniors Care Home / Inclusive Design
Design goal was to create an accessible website for people with disabilities (visually impaired people). The design should be very simple, clear without unreasonable navigational signs or non-logical groups of information and minimalist, so that it can be used by both young and old.
The most important thing was to set rules based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WGAG) 2.0. According to rules contrast ratio should be at least 4.5:1 (Level AA) and 7:1 (Level AAA). Moreover, it is recommended to have information in redeable fonts, icons labeled with text whenever possible, large buttons, underlined and understandable links.
