City of Keene Website Redesign
Enter your teThis was a website redesign for the City of Keene, New Hampshire. The city had realized it had been a while since the current site had gotten a "refresh" and so it suffered from information overload, content bloat and lots of legacy elements that were no longer needed. I worked with the great team at Paragon Digital to create a new design for their homepage, interior pages and a landing page for each department. Since the website is for a city usability and a wide audience were the two biggest factors. We also had to make sure we were thinking of and accommodating as best we could each of the city departments with their own unique agendas and concerns. We also had a wealth of information that we needed to reorganize and restructure so that it was easier for the general public to use. You see in this image the newly designed homepage followed by before and after shots of the current site and the new site. Following that is an example of the new "mega menu" we created so that each main section of the website was easily accessed from any page, but also cleanly organized for ease of use. After that then is a side by side of a sample department landing page as well as a sample interior page.
