BVN Input Case Study: Fintrack Mobile App

Anytime a relatively new fintech platform requests for user’s bank verification number (BVN), to complete their onboarding experience, they mostly uninstall the app because they get scared of three major things, which are:

- How can a random software developer have access to all of my financial records?

- How much data can they get from my BVN?

- How successfully will they be able to protect that information?

So I designed a solution that allows users to input their bank verification number (BVN) without fear, assuring them that their BVN is secure and informing them about the data that would be extracted from it.
