Make the Most of Your Moment

At UC Berkeley, Division of Equity and Inclusion, they’re building an environment where all could feel welcome and have the opportunity to succeed. Two high-profile communications initiatives signal Berkeley’s continued commitment to the cause: a report on successful innovations in diversity and inclusion, and a behavior-changing awareness campaign for Berkeley community members, asking them to “make the most of your moment.” The goal? To give everyone an equal shot of making it to and through the state’s flagship university.

Hand-written text offers an approachable, compassionate invitation for authentic conversation. It’s humanizing by offering a first person perspective. It allows each of us to recognize and see one another.

A diverse range of portraits glow with warm optimism and invite dialogue. Each individual looks into the camera making eye contact, lit with sunlight, and expressing confidence.
