Sellers hire Square Online to build a beautiful online store that reflects their brand. Typography is an essential part of their brand. Sellers want to have more flexibility with typography to display their content effectively. With this Typography release, we launched a handful of updates to make typography on sellers’ sites more flexible. I was the lead designer on this project.

Advanced type controls

I added a new Fonts menu to make it easier for the seller to choose primary and secondary font combo that works well together. I also added a Type scale and Base font size controls to allow the seller to choose a Body text size and a multiplier for the rest of the type styles without having to select every single text label on the site. Which ultimately reduces time to launch.
