Crohns & Colitis

Last year I was diagnosed with a form of IBS called Colitis. I almost lost my dad to it when I was younger so when it was mentioned the first time you can understand the wake up call it gave me. Unfortunately it is currently incurable and only manageable with medication and will likely effect me for the rest of my life.

This year I wanted to do something positive to raise awareness, which is when I stumbled on the fantastic project 'Give Crohns a slap from me'. It's a project set up by a fellow Crohns suffer & Graffiti/Street Art admirer. The project was to create art to raise awareness but also raise money for the largest charity here Crohns & Colitis UK.

To kick things off I decided to cycle from Bristol to London on my fixed gear bike (140miles) in one day. I managed it after a somewhat eventful 14 hours, but we raised lots of money!

It has only just begun and this is my artistic contribution piece to the project, and I believe it intends to be ongoing.

The website is currently in the process of being built, but to donate please visit:
