Dribbble Weekly Warmup - Negative Space Logo: Chicago Plant Shop

My entry for the negative space logo for the Dribbble weekly warmup. I chose a local business, the Chicago Plant Shop to redo the logo for. The Chicago star is meant to be a blooming plant above the pot it's planted in. The negative space is shaped from the negative space already present in the "H." The "CHI" is custom lettering with Gotham Bold for "Plant" and Gotham Black for "Shop."
