Perspective Correction in Instagram Tools

Most of the time, when you take a photo and you think you have your shot perfectly lined up, you likely don’t. Your hand can be holding the camera a bit off, and it’s only later when you try to post your shot to Instagram that you realize that things aren’t quite aligned.

To help with such problems, we’ve updated our “Adjust” tool within Instagram with Perspective adjustment control. This means you can now tip the photo on the X or Y axis, giving you more control of the alignment of your image. If you’ve ever tried to get lines straight on a building, these tools should help put your OCD at ease.

We’ve included them in Adjust, since to get an image just right, you need to often control the image rotation, along with horizontal and vertical alignment at the same time.
