Maud Ink is a fictitious brand created to chronicle the first female tattoo artist of the 19th Century, Maud Wagner. A world renowned circus acrobatic, aerialist + contortionist turned tattoo artist. Her husband, Gus Wagner (The "Tattoo Globetrotter") taught her the craft and helped her pave the way for female tattoo artists today.
