Hats for Covent Gardener magazine

Cropped illustration of an editorial for Covent Gardener magazine to celebrate the royal jubilee about historical hats & celebrating Lairds hatters. A quote which really stuck out for me was "The hat is the dot in the exclamation mark that completes your outfit".

I liked how my wonky approach is coming through and the variety of textures used on the hats to describe their materials & personalities. The illustration is of a person pointing out the hat they want to complete their outfit. Within the illustration I have included subtle exclamation marks throughout.
