Mortgage loan calculator

One thing designing a product UI teaches you is that push to learn more about the product itself and how it is consumed. First time I had to read up about mortgages, to understand what each component means.

Designing this UI gave me an opportunity to think about;

UX writing: addressing the questions to a "you", personalizing the experience.

Business needs: Email capture and CTA buttons in a "calculator", increases the chance of the business converting a lead and also makes future outreach a breeze.

Flexible Input: Sometimes the user does not want to include other secondary payment needs like taxes, levy, fees; they just want to know about interest on loan amount, hence the "add options" button.

This is probably not a comprehensive calculator, but it is a good start.
