I talked about design & automation

I had the incredible opportunity to talk and share some ideas about Design & Automation with Figma at Into Design Systems 2022 conference.

I believe our way of designing & shipping digital products with design systems is evolving, our design tools are evolving. And it can be overwhelming to keep up and to invest time in ways to work smarter.

That's why I gave this presentation, about setting the right mindset towards automation and the creative possibilities that opens, to help folks understand where automation can start.

By using shortcuts, by combining plugins, or by fixing the gaps on Figma by creating your own plugins.

And also I wanted to shine a light about what's happening inside the Figma Plugin Community today. The impact that the people from that community brings can't be overstated.

In preparation for the talk I reached out to some of them, to learn more about their motivations, their stories and ambitions.
