Milkshake App Illustration
Background
As part of the Milkshake app's updated Insights feature release, we wanted to introduce illustrations in the empty data states. Milkshake's visual identity had no prior defined illustration style. The brief was to define an illustration style that would work cohesively with the existing Milkshake brand and product design system.
I designed a series of vector illustrations for the feature, in a style that can be easily adopted for future placements. The illustrations are presented to new users viewing Insights for New vs Returning Visitors, Location & Traffic Source.
