The new Google app for iOS
Today we launched a brand new version of the Google app for iOS. This has been the result of a lot of hard work from many talented people for the better part of a year, and I’m so proud to finally share it with you all!
You can now get to Google from anywhere easily in one tap, view recently visited pages to carry on more complex tasks, and explore interactive maps directly inside the app. We had a blast rethinking every moment of the app to make it more enjoyable to use, and to help solve your everyday information needs.
I’m incredibly privileged to lead a team of fantastic designers: @Jeremy Goldberg, @Arif Huda, @Michael Oh, and our summer intern Celine, and collaborate with our brilliant UX researcher Ann Hsieh, and help build things with many talented engineers and PMs. Check it out and let us know what you think!
