Overview

I was approached by an owner of a board gaming store for help with a rebranding project, unfortunately he had to close down his physical store and was looking to migrate to being a web based business, and wanted a brand that represented the nature of his business.

When approaching this project I wanted the logo to not only visually communicate what the business sells, but also use it as an opportunity to use the logo as a branding element itself throughout the website.

The client mainly sold trading card games and some of the remaining business he did in person revolved around this aspect of his business, so I wanted that to be a key element of the logo, settling on a dragon denoted the fantasy genre which is a key theme across a lot of the products the client sold.
