Hindustan Motors has a great brand history. The iconic Hindustan Ambassador, a hallmark of Indian motoring, has dominated India’s roads since it was made available to the public in 1957. HM was the largest automotive manufacturer in the country, until the rise of Maruti Udyog.

Having produced over 900,000 cars during its incredible life span of over 50 years, a few thousand are still plying on Indian roads. It is arguably the most followed classic car in India. The Ambassador is touted as a future classic by many automobile journalists.

This rebranding concept is an attempt at reimagining what Hindustan Motors would look like, aligned with the current branding trends in the automotive industry, while preserving the nostalgia associated with the brand and the Hindustan Ambassador.
