WAGMI Transfer is a prototype app that is a simplified crypto currency application for beginners.

Problem Statement

Crypto Currency is intimidating for many new users. We hope to design an app that is easy to understand, fun to use and approachable for all. Our user is a beginner and needs knowledge/education, before spending money to invest in this market.

User Research

We have had interviews and surveys with our target demographic and are very confident that we are reaching a specific demo that is in need of this app. We also have great competitive sets like robinhood, coinbase and public as examples of simplified investment technology.

Market Research

App: Coinbase

I have been using Coinbase for sometime now. Being the easiest platform to use from my own user experience. I felt like this is the app that is fairly easy to use for onboarding, and is a competitor in the market for crypto.

• Having a soft splash page and giving steps in the carousel helps ease the user when using any app.

• Clicking each coin should show more information in depth of what they are buying/trading.

• Having a drop down selection when previewing buy should give less clicks for the user, also allowing them to trade/buy any coin without pressing back.

• Users in the crypto space use different platforms for different coins, since no platform yet can access most coins. Having a platform with every coin possible would make more beginners trade/buy coins easily, instead of it being only for advanced crypto users.

Outcome/Results

Doing another project in this course is repetition for me to understand the product design process again. I am glad to add another portfolio piece and hope to learn more technical/advanced skills to further more my UI/UX design career.
