event branding: poster, merch & presentation

Created for a wonderful company called Gemnote as a part of their design brief interview, I was tasked with coming up for a visual identity for a company-wide bonding retreat in the summer that was inviting and exciting!

The main theme was "belonging here as one team" and I immediately thought of a puzzle - if you are missing one piece, it doesn't feel complete! That is the way a team of people working together should feel too.

I added a gradient full of bright colors because I am still obsessed with gradients (fight me) and designed some fun yet functional merch that I would want to use past the event itself!

Which puzzle piece are you on your team? ie; the corner piece = sturdy foundation, consistent workhorse. the middle piece w/ lots of connections = the social butterfly who knows how to prioritize people over tasks and has an abundance of skills!
