AIDS | A Visual Narrative;

AIDS | A Visual Narrative; was a project I made for a lecture course on the same topic. We were tasked with interviewing members of our community who were around during the AIDS epidemic, gathering insights and experiences. I chose a bold font that pulls most of the weight of the story with its grunge texture and weighty characters. I paired it with a simple, sans-serif to increase the shock value on many of the spreads, as many of the facts revealed in the book are quite shocking.
