Inchinnan Cruising Club Cruise and Muster Badges

Inchinnan Cruising Club has three major events in the sailing season calendar, In Early June there is a three night, three port "Middle Distance Cruise" which has a different destination on the Firth of Clyde each year. The second in mid July is a muster of the Club boats at Holy Loch Marina which is in the same loch as the historical burial grounds of the Clan Campbell at Kilmun church. The third early September is another Club boat muster at Rothesay harbour which is famous for the historic Clan Stewart castle. This castle has seen Viking raids, Medieval Renaissance Kings, Cromwellian "round head" troops, daor presbyterian Victorians and recently Ukrainian refugees. I based the badges on the traditional designs of Ship's badges which feature a rope circle, nautical crown, name plate and an icon relating to the name of the ship.
