The Soft Meadow - Embodied Nature Collection

In exploring the myth of Persephone, I saw many parallels between her story and the current climate crisis. In this series, I illustrate her story while looking at her connection to nature and to the earth through an eco-feminist lens.

"The Soft Meadow" is a reference to the Homeric Hymn to Demeter, which speaks of the meadow of flowers that Persephone was gathering with her friends before she discovered the portal to the underworld. This is a repeating pattern.
