Philly Office Mural

Our Philadelphia office gifted us with a design opportunity in the form of a giant wraparound blank wall that faces our windows. We saw this as a chance to make something uniquely Craft, together.

From Willow Tierno, the mural designer: We began this process with a team workshop. Walking around the neighborhood exploring typography, architecture, signage, and mixing that with some more personal motifs unique to each team member. Out of the workshop, we tackled the challenge of molding all of this diverse content into one concrete idea.In the end, we created a language that referenced elements of our logo while expressing the diversity of the team. CRAFT is spelled out in areas where you see the grid behind the finished letter. In some spaces, you can see elements that represent the team. It was an amazing and challenging experience and I learned a lot about designing from start to finish. I’m so happy with how it turned out and excited to see what the Craft team does next!
