With the rise of fitness training and healthy diet, whey protein product has widened the market reach to those people who are not specifically working out but simply want to start a healthier lifestyle. Most of the whey protein products here in Taiwan are imported from the States, Australia, and other countries that are mostly flavored in a strong sweet taste. Thus, a group of friends who love sports and food decided to make their own protein snacks that suit local taste. After a successful crowdfunding campaign on zeczec in 2018, they founded the brand "Spark Protein".
