I received a scholarship to travel with a group of students from Oklahoma State University to the Doel Reed Center for the Arts out in Taos, New Mexico in June 2012.

The class was dedicated to learning to work in and keep a sketchbook. I hand bound a sketchbook with various types of paper. Besides the Taos area, I also traveled and sketched around the whole of the Enchanted Circle, falling in love with the variety of architecture, vegetation, and natural formations.
