Dog Walkerrr - Dog Walking App

Hey Dribbble

πŸ’ŽΒ Welcome to Dog Walkerrr - A mobile application for locating and scheduling dog walkers near you.

Essentially Dog Walkerrr wants to offer dog owners an alternative option to take care of their pets.

My role in this project was to conduct market and user research; and based on the findings, create a product from design to delivery that will satisfy those needs.

01 Define Requirements

The first step taken was to define the general business goals, requirements for the project, understand the deliverables and timelines. Also in this stage, I try and make my own hypothesis for what I expect the problem to be.

02 Discover the Issues

Our team conducted interviews with potentials users to determine what their needs and pain points might be. We had an informative brainstorming session with the team which helped to streamline the issues being faced and discussed possible solutions

03 Interpret the Results

Since we were able to gather information the next step was to generate insights and create our user personas. This assisted the team to visualize the end user, and from that come up with solutions and functionality needed for them.

04 Ideate over solutions

In this stage, I try and come up with as many solutions as humanly possible. With each solution you end up checking whether:

  • It meets your user needs.

  • It is commercially viable.

  • It is technological feasible.

With possible solutions and all information compiled the next stage was to create a user flow for the product.

05 Prototype

Based on the user flow, I managed to come up with wireframes that will allow the team to test and validate our solutions. I started with sketching, then a low fidelity wireframe so as to test out my ideas before heading too far.

Once the first round of testing is done, it is time to make the product appealing from a visceral point of view. I created a moodboard to centralize all my concepts and inspirations. The goal was to create a playful and modern interface.

06 Test and test again

In the final phase I test the porotype with users. From the tests results I will understand what needs to be changed and fixed

Hope you enjoyed my case study. Show some love πŸ–€πŸ€ Press "L" on your keyboard, and follow me for upcoming work.
