Pocket-Sized Notebook

Today we’re launching our first-ever (non-poster) product. It’s a humble little pocket notebook that contains information about why and how to spec environmentally responsible paper. We use notebooks on a regular basis and figure that a useful object would be the easiest way to help other graphic designers begin to integrate environmental responsibility into their practice. Specifying recycled paper is one of the easiest and most impactful things a graphic designer can do to minimize the carbon footprint of a print project, and so that’s where we’re starting.

The notebooks are 3 for $10.00, plus $2.00 for shipping. The cost to manufacture, package, and ship a single notebook (at current quantities) is $3.74, so our profit margin is pretty minimal. The goal is to get this information into the hands of as many graphic designers as possible. Help us spread the word!
