Walkie Doggie - Dog Walking App

Cover of "Walkie Doggie" app

Hey Dribbble 👋🏻 🏀

Here is my mobile responsive concept for a dog walking app 🐶

“Walkie doggie” is the app that will focus on the concerns of dog owners while there are busy or away from home.

About the app, Problems, Solutions

My Role

I was responsible for exploring product problems, developing design solutions that solve these problems, applying changes based on the users' feedback, and implementing a visual design for them.

Design Process

The below design process illustrates the iterative model of the work.

The requirements are refined and the design evolves through this cycle.

"The process is not just linear"

Design process

Different methods and techniques were used to have a better understanding of user problems and to identify their pain points:

1- Interviews with dog owners and potential users.

2- A competitor's benchmark to understand the market and to find advantages for the product.

Brainstorming

During the brainstorming session, it was decided to award a certain badge to dog walkers after passing a particular milestone. ie 500 walks,

20 five-star reviews and etc.

Persona

Based on user research, the dog owners' frustrations, goals, and ambitions were defined.

User Flow

Here is a revised flow depicted based on the finding of the aforementioned steps. This flow shows booking a walk by exploring, selecting a walker, and choosing a desired date and time for an appointment.

Wireframing

Before styling, the flows were tested by prototyped wireframing.

Style Guide & Design System

After wireframe testing and feedback analysis, styles, typography scale, and components were defined and used to finalize the visual design.
