Hues And Contrast

Experimenting with hues and the contrast between them. It’s pretty crazy how the contrast between hues changes so significantly across the spectrum.

Each right-hand triangle within a square is 4 hue values lower than the other triangle. Each square is 10 hue values higher than the previous square. In some squares, the triangles are almost indistinguishable from one another—an effect much more noticeable in the saturated version. The whole thing is desaturated to make the contrast easier to see, but you can see the original experiment in the attachment.
