Carpe Diem - enjoy the moment

Butterfinger Candy Bar

I didn't know that Butterfinger Bar has such a long history. It was invented in 1923 by Mr. Otto Schnering of the Curtiss Candy Company. Personally, it was too sweet for me but I enjoyed its texture, something between candy and chocolate bar. I personally wanted to have the original logo but couldn't find the old style one.

Vintage milk jar

As Butterfinger is too sweet, I decided to combine it with a milk jar but not glass, a vintage 1930-style one. I googled 1930s milk jar and found this vintage-looking milk jar and it inspired me to create the logo.

Propaganda & Conclusion

Finally, I was inspired by this stock photo to create laughing, happy child background. I think milk + chocolate + child is the perfect marketing combination for this industry. It feels like I could be happy like that child after having a candy bar with a sip of delicious milk.

Thanks for seeing this. (I think I like this case study mod by the way)
