Inchinnan Cruising Club Insignia

Influenced by international navies, I created a set of insignia for the office bearers of the Inchinnan Cruising Club. The Committee are democratically elected each year and then lead on all functions of the Club for that year. One bar of "lace" represents responsibility to a singular "trade" which is represented by an icon. Next level is the "trade" of money which has two bars of "lace" because it finances all the trade's activity, the Treasurer. The Secretary does not have a singular "Trade" so has three bars as it oversees all the "trades" including the Treasurer. The Vice Commodore has a bar but also a combined bar to represent overall responsibility of all trades and secretary. The Commodore has a combined bar, a bar the same as the Vice and also a bar again to represent responsibility over the Vice Commodore. The combined bars function is to cut down adding a clumsy amount of bars.
