I was commissioned by Writer's Room to create a illustration depicting their terminology management product. This illustration describes how different words and phrases cumulatively make up the identity of a brand or persona.

Process

I like to start with pencil whenever I can. After choosing a concept with my client, it's on to illustrator for creating shapes, and masking out the areas of the illustration in different colors so that they are easy to select with the wand tool when I move to photoshop.

Last stop, creating my texture in photoshop using the dodge, burn and bitmapping tools. The end.
