Daybreak Process

I am currently working through one of my largest lettering projects to date. I thought it would be good to show a vital step in my vectoring process. After my refined pencil sketch, I scan it in and create the first pass through the vector machine. Once I am pretty happy with it on screen I always print it out and mark it up, which is shown here. This step is vital and gives me a whole different perspective than seeing it on screen. I may do this 2-4 times throughout the refining process.
