Case study Dog Walking app - DOGGO!
As a part of the Dribbble Product design course, we were given the task to create a dog walking app.
Challenge
Create an easily accessible platform for dog owners to connect with reliable dog walkers/sitters.
User research
The group was tasked to interview friends and family about their usage and needs for this kind of service.
The most common denominator in the interviews was trust. Dog owners need to be able to fully trust the person tasked to care for their furry family member.
Flexibility and affordability were also big issues. Many owners felt it was hard to get someone to take their pets with short notice and doggy daycare is often expensive and has fixed, predetermined hours.
User flow and wireframing
Deducing that owners quickly want to be able to serarch for available walkers or sitters, I opted to make the services browsable without the user having to log in / create an account untill they are ready to contact or book a specific walker.
Design
I was aiming for an easy, non-intimidating design with soft colors and little clutter.
