The Bureau visual identity

The Bureau is an investigative journalism website project by Sam Cooper, a Canadian investigative journalist and author.

I worked on visual identity and website design for The Bureau last year and am stoked to finally share it here.

The symbolism for the logo is drawn from classified/top secret documents. “THE BUREAU”—set in appropriate typography reveals itself out of censored lines, inviting the audience to a space where cutting edge investigative journalism is taking place and classified level information is unveiled. Bold, simple and to the point. A variation of this design was chosen as the final logo.
