Mavalon Official Selection Film Festival Laurels
Laurels designed for the Mavalon, the annual Colorado Mesa University film festival showcasing the best student work from the animation and film program. The year at the bottom of the laurels will be updated each year.
The name is derived from the Colorado Mesa University mascot, which is a maverick and from the Avalon, the venue hosting the film festival. The Avalon is a historic theatre located in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado.
The Mavalon film festival is hosted at the Avalon every spring semester in May.
