Logo Design for Republic Tattoo Supply

Logo concept for a company that sells professional tattoo and medical supplies to licensed artists in Texas.

The challenge was to refresh the brand’s existing logo and make it more modern & sophisticated without losing touch with its identity and alienating loyal customers.

Thus we kept the double-headed eagle, a symbol of power and masculinity, but removed excess detail that made the logo somewhat tacky and unprofessional. Then the simple, legible serif font was incorporated to enhance maturity and give the design an overall classic/timeless feel.
