Design Challenge - Countdown Timer

I decided to try integrating a 3D element into this design challenge to make it more interesting. I liked the idea of the New Years ball dropping as the countdown approaches zero. The idea is that the shadow gets smaller as the ball approaches 0 mins. For the controls, I kept it simple. I've noticed that some countdown timers also have a "stop" button, but I believe this is confusing alongside the "pause" button. Pause and reset should provide all the functionality needed.
