Cryo Diesel - Beer Label Design

Cryo Diesel - Craft Beer Label Design. For the next iteration of our Cryo series labels, I was inspired by old botanical illustrations of marijuana ~ circa 1840s. I cleaned them up in photoshop, removing the background and adjusting vibrancy. From there, I integrated the illustrations with the chemical structures of Terpenes which are found in both hops & marijuana. These non-psychoactive chemicals are able to impart a wide variety of flavors and aromas. For example, Myrcene is commonly associated with red grapefruit, and piney citrus. While Linalool is described as floral lemons.

Cryo is a new hop product similar to hash or keef. The hop producers remove all "green matter" from the hops and what is left is the CRYO a complex blend of Terpenes, Alpha acids and other compounds. Each flavor element in the design is framed by an exploding puff of deep lush cryo.
