The Sunset

When I was a kid, notebook covers were so simple, lame and boring. the most creative ones came with captain Tsubasa characters as cover. back then I received a gift from my aunt, a notebook with very beautiful illustrated cover.

I loved it so much that I took it with me everywhere, in a while its cover became the subject and inspiration to almost all my drawings and that was how I learnt to draw palm trees.

this illustration is inspired by that cover and those drawings but this time in digital form. I wanted to relive a profound memory by illustrating it.
