How would you describe a good tutor?

Good Listener: The tutor should develop good listening skills so that they will better understand students' misconceptions and errors.

A good tutor will take the time to connect meaningfully with the student and their families. They will be caring and compassionate, but also professional and organized. Having a good rapport with the student will move a tutor from good to great.

‘A great teacher can teach Calculus with a paper clip and literature in an empty field. Technology is just another tool, not a destination.’
