Rook Apartments - Branding, Identity & Website

The BT Creative Team took on the branding and marketing from the ground up for one of Tacoma’s newest builds, Rook Apartments. Rook celebrates the small businesses, local craft brewers, and rich local history and community it’s surrounded by, with a touch of modern charm.

Like its namesake, being social is a part of the foundation, which is why we focused on illustrating a custom rook for its primary logo and identity. Rooks and crows are social by nature, and with the rustic interior design of the building, we thought a hand-illustrated logo would marry the two ideas seamlessly.

We designed Rook’s landing page with custom graphics, curated copywriting, easy-to-use interactive ux, and stock imagery that represents and tells the inclusive story of both Tacoma and Rook Apartments. And to help people get to know the area, we put together a hand-illustrated Brewery Map that’s custom to Rook and the surrounding brewery scene.
