This was the piece that inspired my brand Split/Lives. I live in Seattle, the rainy city, and an umbrella is a necessity here. It protects you from the showers and shelters you from harm, but it's also an accessory that can be classy, funky, i.e. it highlights our personalities. You would never think that off the bat, but next time it's raining take a look at peoples umbrellas, you might learn a thing or two about them.
